» Join ACS Financial Readiness for some extreme couponing with a military twist.  Learn how to save hundreds of dollars in your spending plan through the use of organized couponing at Coupons & Coffee at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Java Cafe on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. » Learn how to snowball out of debt and build a savings plan at the Midweek Money Series from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Wednesday in Bldg. 3109, the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center on Deanner Kaserne. » Discipline for Pre-Teens, a new class geared toward parents and caregivers of children from 10 to 12 years old, takes place at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Bldg. 2917 on Pulaski Barracks. Enroll by calling 0631-3406- 4062/4203.

» Join Army Community Service for the next Family Resiliency Training at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Bldg. 2891 on Pulaski Barracks. This free seminar will help you build a stronger family unit by teaching you the skills to increase your resiliency and core competencies. For details, call 0631-3406-4203.

» Take part in the Basic Training for New Parents class, which takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in Bldg. 2917 on Pulaski Barracks. » The Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center invites all Air Force spouses to attend HeartLink from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 19. HeartLink is a seminar specially created for new Air Force spouses. Attendees will receive a personal briefing from the 86th Airlift Wing commander about Ramstein’s mission, tour a C-130 aircraft, visit the southside gym and health and wellness center, have lunch, learn about Air Force customs and courtesies, and find out about available resources on and off base. HeartLink provides an opportunity to meet new friends and learn about Air Force culture and Ramstein Air Base. To pre-register or for details, call the A&FRC at 480-5100 or 06371-47-5100.

» The Armed Forces Action Plan is the grassroots process to identify and deliver changes to the community. » During October, the New Parent Support Program is hosting a series of workshops for parents and their babies ages 10 weeks to 12 months old. In this workshop, learn the calming and powerful techniques of massage and how this will aid in the development and nurturing your baby. Classes take place from 10:30 to

Chapel News

» The Ramstein Chapel is accepting bids for the following contract position: Catholic life teen music director — This person will lead the choir and community singing for the northside 5 p.m. Catholic Sunday Mass, during special holidays and feasts, and during other special services as needed. All music and

singing will complement the style and atmosphere of the service being supported. The music director will lead the Life Teen Band to provide instruction, guidance and support of the Sr. Youth Program. The chapel will be accepting bids until 4 p.m. today. The Statement of Work and bid documents can be picked up from the Ramstein North Chapel, Monday through Friday.
