Kaiserslautern’s city center will be the stage for a street theater festival of its own kind today to Sunday. For the seventh year, Lebenshilfe Kaiserslautern (an association for the mentally disabled) will sponsor the event “Alles Muss Raus!” or, “Get it all out!” in cooperation with Lebenshilfe Arts and Culture, the City of Kaiserslautern and the Rheinland-Pfalz Culture Summer.

Otterberg will sponsor its traditional spring fest Saturday through Monday. Every two years since the middle of the 18th century, the community celebrates this spring fest, in turn with the old town fest.

Marriage is one of the biggest commitments made in life. It’s a promise to build a life together, to account for another’s needs and start a family. Once the commitment is made, the paperwork shouldn’t be the thing that keeps someone from taking the big leap.

County road L379 between Obermoschel and Waldgrehweiler will close to motorized traffic from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The union community of Alsenz-Obermoschel will sponsor its second car-free event in the Moscheltal valley. Along the 10 kilometers stretch, L379 will turn into an adventure area for bicyclists, hikers and skaters.
