More than 100 artisans present their works from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the annual ceramics market in Homburg.

The organizers, Saarpfalz-Touristik and Homburg City Marketing, hope to lure visitors from the whole region to the 16th annual Homburg Ceramics Market.

Artisans will offer useful ceramics for everyday, gardening objects and fine arts. Items include jewelries made of different clay materials, art sculptures, garden tables in mosaic patterns, and a lot more. Visitors will also find Easter decorations made of ceramics.

The European Culture Park of Bliesbruck-Reinheim will show off various archaeological findings and will allow children to make pottery.

Visitors of the ceramics market might be interested in getting to know some other sights of Homburg — the Schlossberg Caves and the Roman Museum.

On Sunday, Homburg stores will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. The parking garage in the center of town will be open on both days.
