Homburg holds ceramics market

Visitors of the Homburg Ceramics Market find all kinds of ceramic objects Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, stores are open from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Right in time for Easter, more than 100 artisans from all over Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will present their diversity of ceramic works 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the center of Homburg. Both organizers, Saarpfalz-Touristik and Homburg City Marketing, expect thousands of visitors, who want to enjoy the southern atmosphere of the Homburg Ceramics Market. Additionally, stores will be open 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Artisans will display a wide spectrum of ceramics: ceramics for every day, garden objects and fine arts. Items include jewelries made of different clay material, art sculptures, garden tables in mosaic patterns, and a lot more. Visitors will also find a wide range of Easter decorations made of ceramics.

Organizers emphasize the fact that all products being offered are unique items; there are no mass products.

Local restaurants, cafes and caterers will serve their food and drink specialties.

Visitors of the ceramics market might be interested in getting to know some other sights of Homburg the Schlossberg Caves and the Roman Museum.
