Cultural expo

In support of Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month an Asian-American Pacific Islander Cultural Expo will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the KMCC Food Court. There will be a martial arts demo, music, fashion show, traditional dances and food sampling.

Commissioning town hall

The Ramstein Education Center and Company Grade Officers Council will hold a commissioning town hall briefing from 1 to 3 p.m. June 7 at the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Conference Center, Foulois Room, Bldg. 306A, on Ramstein. Information on the various programs will be provided along with a panel of prior enlisted officers to share their experiences. Trace Adkins concert

A free musical event for the whole family with country music star Trace Adkins will take place at 7 p.m. June 11 at the Ramstein Enlisted Club. Seating will be limited, so visitors are asked to bring their own blankets or chairs. For more details, visit www.86FSS.com.

Dental appreciation day

The Ramstein Dental Clinic will hold a Retiree Dental Appreciation Day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 13 in Bldg. 301. Military retirees of all services are welcome to take part. The dental clinic will be providing dental exams and cleaning and minor restorative work the next day if slots are available. To make an appointment, contact the dental clinic at 06371-46-2210. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment.

Freedom Fest vendor sign-up

Private organizations interested in being a food or game vendor for this year’s Freedom Fest on July 4 should email applications to 86fss.privateorgs@us.af.mil. Applications can be found at www.86FSS.com. Include the name of the private organization, two points of contact, contact numbers and two food or game selection options. Selections will be made on a first come, first served basis. No .mil emails will be accepted. Use a commercial email during off-duty hours to complete the application process.

Ramstein outprocessing

Ramstein outprocessing is held every Monday at 8 a.m. in Bldg. 2402. ROP Line personnel must be preregistered to attend, and a virtual outprocessing checklist will be loaded upon attendance. ROP has an 80-seat capacity. Unregistered members will be seated on a first-come basis until capacity is reached. Remaining members will be asked to return at a later date. DTS travelers

Travelers who have booked and arranged their official travel using the Defense Transportation System are required to provide copies of their official travel orders to the local Sato travel office within 72 hours of the scheduled flight. Without official travel orders, invoices cannot be reconciled and submitted to Defense Finance and Accounting Services Indianapolis for payment. If the traveler is unable to present the orders to Sato, then the official who directed the travel is responsible for doing so. For details, contact your local official travel office.

Automotive class

Central Texas College will offer an introduction to automotive technology Aug. 1 to Sept. 26. Class will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Ramstein Auto Hobby shop, Bldg. 2136. For details, call 480-5536 or email ramstein@europe.ctcd.edu.
