» An inaugural “mega” arts exhibition hosted by U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Youth Programs in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America will take place Wednesday to
Feb. 12 at Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh Housing, Bldg. 1036. The exhibition will consist of fine arts, image makers and digital arts from youth, ages 6-18 years old, in the community. Winners of the local show move on to the regional competition in Aviano, Italy. Regional winners are sent to BGCA Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, to compete in the national competition. » A wine expo sponsored by Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation and the Exchange will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 19 and 2 to 9 p.m. Feb. 20 at Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh, Bldg. 1036. Wines from all over the world will be available for tasting along with fine foods. A full wine shop will be set up with all of the wines that are available for sampling. Wine seminars will be held each day of the expo for those interested in learning more about the wine before making a purchase. You will also receive a commemorative wine glass to take home. Open to all ID cardholders and their guests, ages 18 and older. Cost: $34.95 per person, per day; $60 per person for a two-day pass. » The 82nd Airborne “All American” Jeep Group Historical Society invites KMC members to participate at the 34th edition of their yearly winter march, “In the Footsteps of the 82nd Airborne Division,” Feb. 20 in Malempre, Belgium. This year will follow the steps of the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. The march will start at 9:30 a.m. at 12 Rue derriere la tour, 6960 Malempre. Participants must register upon arrival for a fee of €6, which covers logistic support, a hot soup at lunch, a souvenir certificate, hot wine at the end of the march, insurance and other services.
