Youth sports winter registration

Registration for winter Child, Youth and School Services Youth Sports is open through Dec. 4. Sports offered: basketball, ages 5 to 15; cheerleading, ages 5 to 15; wrestling, ages 6 to 14. Preschool Thanksgiving storytime

Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl for a special preschool Thanksgiving storytime at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Preschool-aged children and their parents are invited to this fun, holiday-themed event. No registration required. Teen Advisory Group meeting

The Teen Advisory Group meeting is an opportunity for teens to make their voices heard about what programs and materials they want to see offered at the library. Engineering workshop

Join SKIESUnlimited for an exciting engineering workshop demo from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 12 on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2901. The demo will include activities such as building drawbridges, electrical engines, cranes, gear boxes and more. Open to ages 4 to 18; must be accompanied by an adult. Paws & Pals

The next Paws & Pals event will take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl. The Paws & Pals program helps children improve their literacy skills by teaming up with a dog to read books. The dogs are registered volunteer animals that have been trained and are great listeners. Catholic religious education program

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Catholic Community Religious Education Program offers a vibrant religious education experience to KMC children throughout the school year. Kindergarten to seventh-grade students meet from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Sundays at Kaiserslautern Elementary School, Bldg. 2007. Confirmation candidates, eighth-grade students, “Life Teen” participants and high school students meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Pulaski Chapel, Bldg. 2869. The program is designed to support parents and educate children about the Catholic faith, scriptures and the sacraments, all contributing to the development of a stronger spirituality.
