Youth sports winter registration

Registration for winter Child, Youth and School Services Youth Sports is open Monday through Dec. 4. Sports offered: basketball, ages 5 to 15; cheerleading, ages 5 to 15; wrestling, ages 6 to 14. Bambino Basketball cancelled

The Child, Youth and School Services Bambino Basketball program has been cancelled for the upcoming sports season, therefore there will no longer be registration on Monday. Catholic religious education program

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Catholic Community Religious Education Program offers a vibrant religious education experience to KMC children throughout the school year. Kindergarten to seventh-grade students meet from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Sundays at Kaiserslautern Elementary School, Bldg. 2007. Confirmation candidates, eighth-grade students, “Life Teen” participants and high school students meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Pulaski Chapel, Bldg. 2869. The program is designed to support parents and educate children about the Catholic faith, scriptures and the sacraments, all contributing to the development of a stronger spirituality. Dinovember storytime

Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library for a special preschool Dinovember storytime at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. November is the month of dinosaurs at the library, and this is the perfect kickoff celebration. SKIESUnlimited offers cheer and tumbling classes for youth ages 6 to 18. Classes help to improve strength, flexibility, jumps and tumbling. Driver’s education

Installation Management Command Europe is proud to announce the availability of a comprehensive driver’s education program for high school students in Europe. The program has been made possible through a collaborative effort and contract with the German National Federation of Driving Instructors, Fahrlehrerverband. Lapsit storytime

Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library for Lapsit storytime. This infant storytime is held at 10:30 a.m every Thursday. The event includes sensory crafts, songs, fingerplays and stories. Light refreshments are available for the parents. Because of limited space, sign-up is required for every storytime. A wait list is also available, in which parents are notified the Saturday prior if a space has become available. Tots and Tales storytime

Tots and Tales storytime at Rheinland-Pfalz Library is an entertaining event with flannel board fun, fingerplays, songs, activities and nursery rhymes. It promotes educational development and reading readiness in young children, ages 12 to 24 months. Tots and Tales storytime is held at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday. Sign up in advance.
