Unit-level soccer registration
All units wishing to participate in unit-level soccer must register no later than Thursday. A coaches meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday on Pulaski Barracks in Bldg. 2899. German-American Friendship 5K
The German-American Friendship 5K run/walk takes place from 8 a.m. to noon April 11 at the Gelterswoog lake, Gelterswoog 20, 67661. Bring your family, friends, neighbors and pets to this free event, and celebrate a day of camaraderie. Participation medals will be given to the first 500 people. SAAM 5K run/walk
The Army and Air Force will host a Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K Run/Walk April 25 at the Ramstein Southside Fitness Center in Bldg. 2117. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9. Registration is free for all participants. The first 100 to register will receive a free T-shirt. Youth sports coaches needed
KMC Youth Sports has volunteer opportunities for this coming baseball/softball season. If interested in coaching youth sports, call the Ramstein Youth Sports Department at 480-5660 or 06371-47-5660, or call the Vogelweh Youth Sports Department at 489-7810 or 06371-536-7810. Practices begin on Monday. The season runs from April 18 to June 13.

Sixth annual AER Golf Tournament
Ramstein Woodlawn Golf Course hosts its sixth annual Army Emergency Relief Golf Tournament in support of the Army Emergency Relief Campaign May 15 at the Ramstein Woodlawn Golf Course. Registration begins 6:15 a.m.; Shotgun start at 9. Price is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place. There will also be a prize for the last place team. Advance purchase of tickets is required. Softball clinic,  practicum tournament
Installation Management Command-Europe hosts a free softball officials’ clinic at 10 a.m. April 14 to 17 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activities Center on Daenner Kaserne, Bldg. 3109. This clinic is open to ID cardholders, ages 18 and older. A practicum tournament will be held at the KAD field April 18 and 19. The practicum tournament is open to the first eight teams to sign up. Powerlifting clinic and invitational
Installation Management Command-Europe will host a free officials’ clinic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 22 to 24 at IMCOM-E Headquarters on Sembach Kaserne, in Bldg. 111, room 153. This clinic is open to ID cardholders, ages 18 and older. A powerlifting invitational will be held at the Sembach Fitness Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 25. Players needed

WMGA membership drive
The Woodlawn Men’s Golf Association will have its membership drive meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Woodlawn Golf Course Club House. This season, there will be friendship matches with three French and three German golf clubs. The cost to join the WMGA is $50. Home and away matches consist of two rounds of golf: one at the visitors golf course and one at Woodlawn.  This special arrangemen gives golfers a chance to play at these French and German courses for low rates.

Women’s History Month 5K
The 86th Airlift Wing Women’s History Month Committee will offer a Women’s History Month 5K fun run at 9 a.m. today at the Ramstein Southside Fitness Center tennis courts. Entry is free. There will be live music and opening remarks by Chief Master Sgt. Sonia Lee, USAFE/A1. For more information, call Senior Master Sgt. Nakia Lorquet at 479-2026.

Disc golf at Pulaski Park
Outdoor Recreation offers disc golf at Pulaski Park. Grab a team and take advantage of this interactive flying disc game that requires precision and accuracy. The brand new course at Pulaski Park is open for public use. Frisbees may be rented from Outdoor Recreation, or you may bring your own.
