Center closes

The Weilerbach center of town will be closed for traffic until April 22. Motorists should follow the detour signs and obey the “do not park” signs.

Office closures

The Furnishings Man-agement Section will be closed for furniture delivery and pickup Monday and Tuesday due to the annual inventory check.

The Customer Service Section remains open with regular hours.

The KMC Housing Office as well as the Furnishings Management Section will close at 11:30 Wednesday due to training.

Both will be closed April 14 and 17 due to German legal holidays.

ADAPT Trivia Night

The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention program will sponsor a Trivia Night at 7 p.m. each Monday in April at the Ramstein Enlisted Club. ADAPT will also pass out information and supplies during the event. For details, call 479-2398.

Essay contest

The 86th Medical Operations Squadron is offering an alcohol awareness essay contest. Topic is, “How has alcohol affected you or someone you know as an Airman, socially, personally and/or occupationally?” All military branches and ranks are allowed to participate. Submissions should at least be 500 words and are due by April 21 at 86mdg.adaptprogram@us.af.mil.

The 53rd Annual Ramstein Bazaar food vendor application will be online at www.ramsteinbazaar.org. The online application will open 6 p.m. April 18 and close 6 p.m. April 19. Information for retirees

The 86th Airlift Wing Retiree Activities Office in conjunction with the KMC Retiree Council will be conducting a Retiree Spring 2017 Information Seminar 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 29 in Bldg. 2402 on Ramstein. Joint Combat Dining-In

The KMC 5/6 will hold their annual Joint Combat Dining-In May 6 at the Pulaski Track. The event is open to KMC military personnel. The opening ceremony will be at 4 p.m., in-processing will start at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 for E1 to E4, $20 for E5 to E6, and $25 for E7 to E9 and officers. Tickets will be available for purchase at the KMCC from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 26 and May 3.

Volunteers needed

The Armed Services Blood Program-Europe will conduct the following blood drives:

Monday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Landstuhl Heaton Auditorium

Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 603rd Air and Space Operations Center, Bldg. 570 on Ramstein

Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hall of Champions Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105, Baumholder

April 24: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 721st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Bldg. 3330

April 25: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. KMCC Food Court
