Walkers will pass seven stations where they can taste culinary specialties and wines by regional caterers, butchers and vintners along about 4 km of mostly paved trails. The hike begins with an opening ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday and ends around 9 p.m. Activities on Sunday are from 10 a.m. to about 7 p.m. Participants can buy a wine pass for €7 and will receive a small glass to taste wines at each wine station. The passes can be obtained at the two information stands. Children can jump on a bouncy castle and get their faces painted. Participants can park their vehicles on parking lots in the Industriegebiet Nord, Hans-Geiger-Strasse, Kaiserslautern, the industrial area between Vogelweh and Weilerbach, along state road L367, and start their route here following the signs.
