Dreary weather did not hinder the ProSoc Academy coaches from helping
children improve their soccer technique Monday. Shortly after 9 a.m.,
the coaches separated the kids by age group and began practicing ball
control and dribbling. The kids shook off the bad weather and happily
took direction.

Summer is here and as the weather warms up, we become more active. The
bad news is so do ticks. Ticks are arachnids, closely related to spiders
and scorpions. Ticks are also carriers of several diseases, including
anaplasmosis, babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, lyme disease, Rocky Mountain
spotted fever, as well as other spotted fevers, and southern
tick-associated rash illness.
