Relocations office has new hours
The Outbound, Retirements and Separations (Relocations) office has new
hours of operations in order to facilitate one-on-one customer
attention. Appointments are only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to
Friday. Walk-in hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 1 to 3
p.m. Fridays.

As the American Eighth Air Force began to expand its heavy bomber raids
into Germany from England in mid-1943, one of the keys to success of the
raids was keeping the bomber groups in tight formations so the gunners
could provide mutual support. However, as the numbers of bombers
increased, it proved increasingly challenging to get them organized into
