Enthusiastic ice skaters will find ice-cold winter fun tonight at 6 p.m. when the Kaiserslautern on Ice season starts. For the sixth year, a mobile ice skating rink will be set up in the event hall of the Kaiserslautern Gartenschau.

The Soldier 360 course aimed at empowering junior leaders with resiliency tools, covering topics including stress management, sleep improvement and family communications.

The Incirlik Hodjas, in white jerseys, compete against the Ansbach Cougars during the Department of Defense Dependents Schools Europe volleyball championships Nov. 7 on Ramstein. Twenty-six teams from three divisions competed in the DODDS European volleyball championships. The DODDS school system is designed for military children residing overseas.

Expanding coalition effort in Iraq, Syria

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Ash Carter met with military commanders this morning, asking them to consider where the coalition effort in Iraq and Syria can be expanded with the help of partners, Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said Nov.17.
