In situations where children may be left without adult supervision, it is important to remember that there are certain rules regarding the level of supervision required depending on the age of the child.

Joint terminal attack controllers from the 2nd Air Support Operations Squadron and NATO partners work through a nighttime scenario as part of exercise Serpentex 16 March 15 in Corsica, France. Serpentex is an annual French-led exercise that is designed to enhance NATO operations and training between allies and partners. Multiple NATO countries worked together throughout the exercise in order to better learn each other’s capabilities and improve in areas where fellow JTACs would be able to help.

While studies are ongoing, recent observations suggest that the incidence of serious birth defects may be related to infection with the Zika virus. Pregnant women or women of childbearing age who plan to become pregnant and their sexual partners are the focus population for the efforts to prevent or mitigate the disease.

SOLENZARA, Corsica — Senior Airman Tormod Lillekroken makes a joke and flashes a smile to his teammate next to him as his eyes dart from the map in his hand to an old car about 500 meters in the distance. This is his target, and he’s attempting to pinpoint its exact location. Shielded by bushes on a high hill, he peeks through openings in the leaves to gather enough information to describe it to a pilot he will soon be responsible for directing.

The program is designed to allow Airmen to help others through the program’s charitable affiliates that provide support to Airmen and their dependents, including those in emergencies and those who need help paying for educational costs.
