Cancelled: Mountain run leads to Nanstein Castle

The running club LLG Landstuhl will sponsor its 23rd Nanstein Mountain Run at 3 p.m. tomorrow. It is the second run to obtain the Palatinate Mountain Run Cup after the Donnersberg Run.

The run will begin near Sickingensporthalle, the gym next to the public swimming pool, at Kaiserstrasse 128 in Landstuhl and go across forest trails up to Nanstein Castle.

The trail is 7.1 kilometers long with a height difference of 350 meters.

The first three winners of each age group will receive certificates and prizes. The award ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Starting fee is €7 for adults and €3 for students, plus €1 deposit for drinking cups.

Locker rooms for men and women can be found in Sickingensporthalle.
