gathered at Rhine Ordnance Barracks July 10 for a change of command

ceremony.

As my time as wing commander for Ramstein Air Base and the KMC draws to
an end, I want to thank the entire base and local community for their
unwavering support of the base and the U.S. service men and women and
family members who are so fortunate to be assigned here.

Lake will be the stage for a weekend of music and lights

The 25th lake festival at Ohmbachsee takes place today through
Sunday. For three days, the lake turns into a big natural stage with
lights, music and shows.

Mostly regional bands are scheduled to entertain visitors on four stages set up around the lake.
