Senate confirms new USAFE commander

Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, currently the assistant vice chief of staff and director, Air Staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington D.C, has received U.S. Senate confirmation for appointment to the grade of general and commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa and Allied Air Command, and director of Joint Air Power Competence Centre, Ramstein Air Base.

American Forces Network-Kaiserslautern has returned to Vogelweh, following a $4 million renovation project that’s created two state-of-the-art radio studios, a television studio and new workspace for its broadcasters and support staff.

About 98 percent of household homes that consume dairy products also regularly purchase ice cream. The average American consumes more than 23 quarts a year, and children ages 2 to 12 years old and people over the age of 45 eat the most ice cream in our country.
