
Thursday Night Comedy Show
Recently awarded Best Standup Comedian at the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Prateek Srivastava headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Aug. 21 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Feature Comedian is Shivani Davé, who is a NYC-based stand-up comic. Special guest is Shannan Hunt, who produces the “Ha Ha” Harvest Comedy Festival each November. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. Rolling Hills Commander’s Cup
Registration for the Rolling Hills Commander’s Cup is now until Aug. 29. This 18-hole Commander’s Cup tournament is Aug. 29 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. The Commanders Cup will be a solo stroke play tournament. Shotgun start is 10 a.m. Cost is $45, and includes cart and green fees, and meal ticket. Meet your commander and play for a chance to win a trophy and engraved plaque in a pro shop. Freaky Tiki “Summerween”
Baumholder Warrior Zone will host its Freaky Tiki “Summerween” celebration Aug. 30 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Youth Spartan Obstacle Challenge Event

The Rolling Hills Open
Registration for the Rolling Hills Open is now until Aug. 8. The event is Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Cost is $50, which includes the green fee and cart, and a BBQ meal with drink. This is a 1-day, 18-hole championship tournament. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (MWR Gift cards, $100, $75, and $50) and all winners will receive automatic inclusion on the Rolling Hills Ryder Cup team. Southern-Style Sunday Brunch

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is holding auditions for “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” Aug. 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. at KMC Onstage Mainstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. German Hunting Course in Baumholder & Kaiserslautern

Dog Obedience Training
Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post.
