Thursday Night Comedy Show

Described by the International Comedy Club as “one of the best comedy writers in Ireland, Ger Staunton headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Sep. 18 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Feature Comedians are Sharon Em, who is an Amsterdam-based Irish Comedian, and Martin Angolo, who is an award-winning Irish comedian. Keeping with the Irish lineup is local comedian and a “wee lass” from Alaska, Erin Crouch will be hosting the show. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. Army Community Service Job Fair

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a Job Fair Sep. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.  This is a job fair where ID card holders will be able to network with more than 25 Government Agencies and Contractors with positions to fill, such as AAFES, DeCA, Stars and Stripes and many more. Job seekers will need to bring their Résumés and References. Dress attire will be business casual. Active-duty members are welcome to wear OCPs. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Interested in making a difference for our children in the community? Child & Youth Services will host an in-person job fair Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child & Youth Program Assistants for locations in Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach. Disposed Vehicle Auction

Pulaski Automotive Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks, is holding a disposed vehicle resale silent auction. Auction opens Sep. 25 and closes Oct. 5. The auction is open to all ID card holders under SOFA except for USAG RP DFMWR management, Auto Skills staff, and their family members. Bids will be accepted at Pulaski Automotive Skills Center during normal business hours. All sales “as is” without guarantees of any kind. Vehicles are not road tested. 8/9 Pin “King/Queen of the Rock” Tournament

Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks, will host a free 8/9 Pin “King/Queen of the Rock” Tournament on the first Saturday of the month, beginning Oct. 4. Registration opens at 10 a.m. on the day of each event, with tournament play starting at 11 a.m. Scheduled dates include Nov. 1, Dec. 6, and continue monthly through Sep. 5, 2026. Midnight Bowl-a-thon

Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks, will host Monthly Midnight Bowling on select Fridays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event is open to adults 18 and older and costs $15 per person, which includes lane use and shoe rental. Wave of Light Ceremony

In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the Wave of Light Ceremony invites families, friends and loved ones who experienced loss of a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or other causes to join in honor and remembrance on Oct. 15, from 5-7 p.m. at the Vogelweh Chapel, Bldg. 2063 on Vogelweh. Sorcery School Fair-Baumholder Library

The Baumholder Library will host the Sorcery School Fair on Oct. 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Formerly known as Potter Palooza, this free event invites participants to sample classes from magic schools of fantasy world through potion-making, crafting and interactive activities.  Wizard and witch attire encouraged. Hideaway Bistro & Grill’s New Menu

Hideaway Bistro & Grill, located inside Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh Housing, Bldg. 1036, has launched a new menu featuring expanded offerings, including the popular Smash Burger. The updated selections aim to provide more variety and flavor for patrons seeking casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Use your Voice: Submit ideas to Improve your Community

Individuals can make a difference in the lives of Army Families by submitting issues for the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz fiscal year 2026 Army Family Action Plan conference. Army Family Action Plan provides Soldiers, Army Civilians, Family members, Survivors, and Retirees a voice by Identifying quality of life and readiness issues for Army Senior Leadership resolution. Issues can be submitted now until Sep. 15 online through the Army Family Web Portal at https://ims.armyfamilywebportal.com by clicking on the QR code which leads to a MS form that only takes a few minutes to complete. Landstuhl Center Clubs

The Landstuhl Youth Center offers a dynamic lineup of Boys and Girls Club of America clubs for students in grades 6 through 12, with engaging opportunities in leadership, creativity and academic support. Located in Building 93812 on Landstuhl Post, the center fosters an environment where you can be whoever you want to be. From chess and robotics to Dungeons and Dragons and Smart Girls, each afternoon brings space for hands-on fun and growth. They call it attitude; we call it Teen Spirit—something you’ll find in every club. Landstuhl Center Programs

At the Landstuhl Youth Center, students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to explore after-school experiences where they can be whoever they want to be. Located in building 93812 on Landstuhl Post, the center champions teen spirit and celebrates individuality through activities in fine arts, technology, sports and more. Each program is designed to foster personal growth and leadership in an engaging, inclusive setting. All sessions are held Monday through Friday, offering a lively space for self-expression and discovery. Volunteer Youth Sports Coaches

Volunteer youth sports coaches are needed for the Baumholder Youth Sports fall season. Coaches are needed for soccer, cheering, archery, bowling, volleyball, golf and flag football, ages 5-15. Benefits include Volunteer hours toward awards and promotion, own children enrolled & receive up to 100% discount on sports fee, earn signature Baumholder sports swag gear, and have a positive impact on community and the mission. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders. Prenatal Yoga

Join a mindful community of expecting moms at the Massage and Yoga Studio, Bldg. 2899 on Pulaski Barracks. Cost is $5 per class or $40 for a book of 10 classes. Spanish Storytime

Baumholder Library offers Spanish Storytime, La Hora Del Cuento, for all ages to our community every third Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Imagination Room at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks.  Have fun exploring the Spanish language with books, reading, songs and other activities for a Spanish Storytime ¡con ganas!
