Thursday Night Comedy Show

Described by the International Comedy Club as “one of the best comedy writers in Ireland, Ger Staunton headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Sep. 18 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Feature Comedians are Sharon Em, who is an Amsterdam-based Irish Comedian, and Martin Angolo, who is an award-winning Irish comedian. Keeping with the Irish lineup is local comedian and a “wee lass” from Alaska, Erin Crouch will be hosting the show. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. Army Community Service Job Fair

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a Job Fair Sep. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.  This is a job fair where ID card holders will be able to network with more than 25 Government Agencies and Contractors with positions to fill, such as AAFES, DeCA, Stars and Stripes and many more. Job seekers will need to bring their Résumés and References. Dress attire will be business casual. Active-duty members are welcome to wear OCPs. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Interested in making a difference for our children in the community? Child & Youth Services will host an in-person job fair Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child & Youth Program Assistants for locations in Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach. Yoga Chakra Basics Workshop

Pulaski Massage and Yoga Studio, Bldg. 2899 on Pulaski Barracks, will host a Chakra Basics Workshop on Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Nov. 8 and Nov. 22. Each two-hour session runs from 10 a.m. to noon and is part of a full workshop designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the body’s energy centers, enriching their practice and fostering a greater sense of happiness and purpose. Halloween 5K Costume Fun Run

The Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program hosts a 5K Halloween Fun Run, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The cost is $8 per person, children under 12 years old are free. Signups are at 9:30 a.m. at the event or participants can register through WebTrac on Kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.  Come dressed in your favorite costume! Chuck’s Pub Trivia Deluxe Halloween Edition

Celebrate Halloween with Chuck’s Pub Trivia Deluxe Halloween Edition Friday, Oct. 31 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. This trivia event features special Halloween categories like Harry Potter, horror movies, serial killers and more. Prizes are MWR gift certificates: $50 for 1st place, $25 for second place and $10 for third place. There will also be special extra awards bonus for questions and remarkable costumes. Hideaway Bistro & Grill, located inside Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh Housing, Bldg. 1036, has launched a new menu featuring expanded offerings, including the popular Smash Burger. The Landstuhl Youth Center offers a dynamic lineup of Boys and Girls Club of America clubs for students in grades 6 through 12, with engaging opportunities in leadership, creativity and academic support. From chess and robotics to Dungeons and Dragons and Smart Girls, each afternoon brings space for hands-on fun and growth. Landstuhl Center Programs

At the Landstuhl Youth Center, students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to explore after-school experiences where they can be whoever they want to be. Each program is designed to foster personal growth and leadership in an engaging, inclusive setting. 2025-2026 Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Unit Level Basketball Registration

The Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports program announces registration for the 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season from Oct. 1 to 31.  The 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season starts Nov. 17 to Jan. 29 at The Hall of Champions and Kleber Physical Fitness Centers. Letters of intent are available at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Center. A mandatory coaches meeting is Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Centers. Eligibility is Active-Duty military and DOD Civilian Card Holders, 18 and older, who are not enrolled in high school or CYS, and from units within the Baumholder Community. RECURRING EVENTS

Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
