Thursday Night Comedy Show

An American based in London, Russell Hicks headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Oct. 16 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Feature Comedians are Erin Crouch, who has been producing and hosting comedy in the KMC since 2020, and Jack Holmes, who headlined the first Kazabra Comedy show in 2021. Guest host is Dizzy the Host. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. Trunkin’ Treats in Baumholder

Holiday Bazaar

The Holiday Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. The Holiday Bazaar is from Friday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Family & MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Halloween After Party Bowling

Strikers Bowling hosts a Halloween Bowling After Party Oct. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Cost is $15. This is an 18+ event. Start Smart Basketball Registration

Enrollments for Start Smart Basketball for ages 3 to 4 are Nov. 1 to 28 or when sessions are full.  Cost is $30 per session. Location is in Landstuhl. Sessions are offered Dec. 2 to 4, and 9 to 11 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Morning sessions are from 10 to 10:45 am., and evening sessions are from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program led by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Start Smart teaches children the skills they need to play organized sports in a FUN, non-competitive environment in four, 45-minute sessions. Pickleball Tournament

Registration for the Pickleball Tournament is now until Nov. 14. The tournament will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Sembach Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Registration is available at Sembach, Kleber, ROB, Landstuhl, Miesau, Hall of Champions and Mountaineer Physical Fitness Centers. Team consists of two players, who are ages 18 and older. Maximum number of teams is 10.  Tournament format is double-elimination, and best out of three games.  Additional rules concerning game play will be available at registration. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

New open sessions of free beginner dance lessons are held every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing.  The focus is on Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles are also available upon request. No experience necessary. Each session is in a start-to-finish format. Beginners welcome at the start of each new session! NFL Sundays at Baumholder Recreation Center

Baumholder Recreation Center will host weekly NFL viewing events every Sunday through Jan. 4, 2026. The gatherings run from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. 2025-2026 Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Unit Level Basketball Registration

The Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports program announces registration for the 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season from now to Oct. 31.  The 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season starts Nov. 17 to Jan. 29 at The Hall of Champions and Kleber Physical Fitness Centers. Letters of intent are available at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Center. A mandatory coaches meeting is Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Centers. Eligibility is Active-Duty military and DOD Civilian Card Holders, 18 and older, who are not enrolled in high school or CYS, and from units within the Baumholder Community. Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks, will host a free 8/9 Pin “King/Queen of the Rock” Tournament on the first Saturday of the month. Registration opens at 10 a.m. on the day of each event, with tournament play starting at 11 a.m. Scheduled dates include Nov. 1, Dec. 6, and continue monthly through Sep. 5, 2026. Midnight Bowl-a-thon

Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks, will host Monthly Midnight Bowling on select Fridays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event is open to adults 18 and older and costs $15 per person, which includes lane use and shoe rental. Scheduled dates include Oct. 10, Nov. 7, Dec. 5, Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 6, April 10, May 15, June 12, July 10, Aug. 7 and Sep. 4. Find out more at baumholder.armymwr.com.

Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
