Holiday Bazaar

The Holiday Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. The Holiday Bazaar is from Friday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Family & MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Serving Heroes Military Appreciation Meal

The Gary Sinise Foundation in partnership with Family and MWR presents a free “Serving Heroes” appreciation meal Nov. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. This buffet-style meal is open to all U.S & Allied, Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans and first responders. This is a part of the Gary Sinise Foundation’s heartfelt mission to honor “Our Defenders, Veterans, First Responders & Their Families.” Come enjoy a warm, classic American meal and connect with others in a spirit of gratitude and community. We look forward to celebrating you and your service.

Thursday Night Comedy Show

Award-Winning American comedian, Tevin Everett headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Nov. 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Feature Comedians are Kristýna Haklová and Maya Upchurch. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. AFE Brings the Rush: Pro Blitz Baumholder  

The Armed Forces Entertainment, and Family and MWR present AFE Pro Blitz – Indianapolis Colts’ Cheerleaders on Nov. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Baumholder Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. This is a free event, which includes a free youth cheer clinic, for ages 5 to 18, a mini show performed by the Indianapolis Colts’ Cheerleaders at 6 p.m., and a meet and greet at 6:30 p.m. For those who want to participate in the cheer clinic, they must enroll with Parent Central Services located at Bldg. 8876 on Wetzel Kaserne. 500/1000 Pound Club

Registration for the 500/1000 Pound Club is Nov.1 to 15 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne. The event is on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Registration is in-person at the Kleber PFC. Open to all Military ID Card Holders, Civilians ID Card Holders, and Local National (LN) ID card holders 18 years and older. Blended Learning Lifeguard Class

Registration opens Nov. 3 and closes Nov. 15 for the Blended Learning Lifeguard Class at Baumholder Aquatic center, Bldg. 8895 on Smith Barracks. Classes are from Nov. 18 to 22, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The course fee is $175. Upon registration, participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course, which must be completed before the first day of class and presented to the instructor. Command the Road Kick Off

Family and MWR, in partnership with Bavarian Motor Cars, is revving up excitement with the “Command the Road” car giveaway. Community members have a chance to win a sleek 2026 MINI Cooper S 4-Door. The excitement begins Nov. 7 at the Holiday Bazaar; attendees can boost their odds of winning by participating in Family and MWR events across the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities. Kaiserslautern AFE Pro Blitz

Armed Forces Entertainment and Family and MWR will host AFE Pro Blitz featuring the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders on Nov. 16 from 12:45 to 7 p.m. The free event will take place at multiple community locations. The day begins with a mini show at 12:45 p.m. at the Ramstein PX food court, followed by a meet and greet. At 4 p.m., a Cheer Workshop will be held at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post, also followed by a meet and greet. The final meet and greet is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. There is no cost to attend. Registration is required for the Cheer Clinic, open to youth ages 5 to 18. Armstrong’s Club Hosts Thanksgiving Celebration

Come celebrate Thanksgiving Day with family and friends at the Armstrong’s Club Thursday, Nov. 27. Times are 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Cost is 32€ for adults, 18 and older, 17€ for ages 6 to 17 and free for ages 5 and younger. 2025-2026 Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Unit Level Basketball Registration

The Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports program announces registration for the 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season from now to Oct. 31.  The 2025-2026 Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season starts Nov. 17 to Jan. 29 at The Hall of Champions and Kleber Physical Fitness Centers. Letters of intent are available at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Center. A mandatory coaches meeting is Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Champions and Kleber Fitness Centers. Eligibility is Active-Duty military and DOD Civilian Card Holders, 18 and older, who are not enrolled in high school or CYS, and from units within the Baumholder Community. Java Café Fall for Pumpkin Special

Landstuhl Car Wash Winter Promotion

Landstuhl Car Wash will offer a winter special throughout November to help customers protect their vehicles from seasonal damage. Regular use of the car wash, especially the under-spray feature, helps remove salt and grime buildup that can lead to rust and corrosion. Discounted rates for the month include the Ultimate Wash for $13 and the Superior Wash for $11. Customers who receive an oil change or tire service and present a same-day receipt to the attendant—weather permitting—will receive further discounts: $12 for the Ultimate Wash and $10 for the Superior Wash.

Contracted Lifeguard Positions

The Baumholder Aquatic Center, located in Bldg. 8895/97 on Wetzel Kaserne, is hiring contracted lifeguards. Positions are available and may vary between annual and seasonal, full-time and part-time roles. For more information, call 531-2929 or 0611-143-531-2929.

Volunteer Coaches Needed for Winter Season

Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness is recruiting volunteer coaches for the upcoming winter season. Coaches are needed for basketball (ages 5–15), cheer (ages 5–15), bowling (ages 8–15), volleyball (ages 9–15), Brazilian jiu jitsu (ages 3–15) and indoor soccer (ages 5–15). Volunteer benefits include eligibility for hours toward awards and promotion, up to a 100 percent discount on sports fees for enrolled children, exclusive Baumholder sports gear and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and its mission. Pickleball Tournament

Registration for the Pickleball Tournament is now until Nov. 14. The tournament will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Sembach Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Registration is available at Sembach, Kleber, ROB, Landstuhl, Miesau, Hall of Champions and Mountaineer Physical Fitness Centers. Team consists of two players, who are ages 18 and older. Maximum number of teams is 10.  Tournament format is double-elimination, and best out of three games.  Additional rules concerning game play will be available at registration. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
