Airmen from the 65th Air Base Group and Portuguese Air Force AB4 participated in the first-ever bilateral Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) exercise at Lajes Field, Portugal, April 29–May 1, 2025. The three-day event enhanced joint mission readiness through command and control integration, rapid deployment drills, and field operations in full protective gear.
