U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Jason T. Hinds, U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa commander, presents the Meritorious Unit Award to Brig. Gen. Jack Arthaud, 48th Fighter Wing commander, during the USAFE-AFAFRICA 2026 Wing Leadership Conference at Ramstein Air Base, Jan. 22. General Arthaud accepted the award on behalf of the 48th Fighter Wing for the organization’s meritorious conduct in direct support of military operations between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024.
