Spring Bazaar

Spring Bazaar kicks off the season March 13 to 15 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks, offering shoppers three days of European goods and specialty finds. Hours run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Vendors will showcase pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry and other unique items, with all prices in U.S. dollars and cashless payments only. Saturday Night Comedy Show

Maureen Langan headlines the Saturday Night Comedy Show Feb. 21 starting at 7 p.m. at the Tavern on the Rock inside the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. Feature Comedian is Bengt Washburn. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. This is an 18+ event. Community Job Fair

USAG RheinlandPfalz Army Community Service will host a Community Job Fair on Thursday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The event is open to all ID card holders and features employers from the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities, with some offering sameday interviews and hiring. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Child & Youth Services will host an in-person job fair March 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child & Youth Program Assistants for locations in Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach. Kaiserslautern Part-Day Preschool

Kaiserslautern Child and Youth Services is enrolling children ages 3 to 5 in a new partday preschool program running from 9 a.m. to noon at Landstuhl CDC 1, Kleber CDC and Sembach CDC. Families may join the waitlist through militarychildcare.com. Program options include two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), three days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or five days (Monday through Friday). Fees are based on household fee categories. Leprechaun Lauf 5k Fun Run

Kaiserslautern Family and MWR will host the Leprechaun Lauf 5K Fun Run on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Participants are encouraged to wear green or dress as a leprechaun. The event welcomes runners and walkers, as well as families, strollers and dogs. The run begins at the Special Events Building, with registration opening at 9:30 a.m. and the start at 10 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top male, female, child and stroller finishers. The cost is $8 per person, while children under 12 may participate at no charge. The Musical “Piper” Performance

KMC Onstage presents the Musical “Piper” for the Month of the Military Child on April 10 to 12, and 17 to 19 at the KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Piper, is a new musical written by local playwright and musician Avril Callicutt, who is an active-duty dependent. This world premiere musical is a fresh retelling of the Pied Piper of Hamelin full of twists and turns featuring a mixed cast of adults and children. School Age Summer Camps

Registration is now open for the Army Family and MWR Child and Youth Services School Age Programs’ Operation – Best Me Mission Ready.” The program offers nine weeks of care services from June 15 to Aug 14. These camps are for School Age Centers on Wetzel Kaserne, Landstuhl Post or Sembach Kaserne. Baumholder Recreation Center: You Spoke; We Listened

The Baumholder Recreation Center, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks, will extend its weekend hours starting Friday, Feb. 20. Responding directly to community feedback, the center will now stay open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, instead of closing at 8 p.m. The new hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on both days. Bows and Bowties Ball

The Baumholder Child and Youth Services are hosting a Bows and Bowties Ball on Feb. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. There will be music, activities and light snacks. This event is age appropriate for 6 weeks through 5th grade. Children must attend with a supervising adult. The cost is $5 per child through WebTrac or payment at Parent Central Services. Registration for this event is now to Feb. 17. Nutrition & Stress Relief Program in Baumholder

The USAG RheinlandPfalz Nutrition & Stress Relief Program is available in Baumholder for civilian and military groups by appointment at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. The ongoing program offers nutrition education, guided diet plans and stressrelief training, including meditation, guided imagery and progressive muscle relaxation. Kaiserslautern Start Smart Registration

Start Smart baseball and soccer registration for Kaiserslautern youth, ages 3-4, is Feb. 23 to March 13 (or until teams are full).  Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent and child interactive program for ages 3 to 4, led by a sports and fitness specialist. Baumholder 101: Spouse Orientation

Meet new and seasoned spouses at the Baumholder 101: Spouse Orientation held either twice or once a month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Post Office building 8661 on Smith Barracks. The dates in the first quarter in 2026 are Feb. 23, and March 23. The goal of this orientation is to connect families with resources, community information, local agencies and services, and other Spouses. There will be representatives from Army Community Service, Outdoor Recreation, Value Added Tax, and many others. The orientation is not limited to incoming Spouses and is open to all Spouses. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
