Spring Bazaar

Spring Bazaar kicks off the season March 13 to 15 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks, offering shoppers three days of European goods and specialty finds. Hours run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Vendors will showcase pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry and other unique items, with all prices in U.S. dollars and cashless payments only. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Child & Youth Services will host an in-person job fair March 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child & Youth Program Assistants for locations in Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach. Feature Comedian is Elena Popa, and special feature is Kaisa Pylkkänen. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. This is an 18+ event. Costco Shopping Spree

Outdoor Recreation is offering a Costco Shopping Spree trip to the new Costco Warehouse Mall in Mulhouse, France on Saturday, March 21. The excursion includes round‑trip bus transportation with a trailer, breakfast, a guided tour of the warehouse, a catered lunch and a €10 shopping voucher for new members. U.S. Costco memberships are accepted at the location. The cost is $79 per person. Free Line-Dancing Lessons

Free linedancing lessons will be offered on select Saturdays at the Kazabra Club. Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The sessions run from 8 to 9 p.m. in Bldg. 2057 and are open to all skill levels. Participants can practice their new moves during Country Night immediately afterward, featuring music by DJ Caddy. Baumholder Spring Fest

U.S. Army Garrison RheinlandPfalz Family and MWR will host a familyfriendly Spring Fest on Saturday, April 4, at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8895 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Activities include a color run, agegrouped egg hunts, lawn games, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny and a pancake breakfast. The festival is designed as a safe and organized community celebration for all ages. An event itinerary is available at baumholder.armymwr.com.

Month of the Military Child Storyland Gala

The Baumholder Library, in partnership with the Landstuhl Library, Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers, the Rheinlander Community Club, and other community partners will host the Month of the Military Child Storyland Gala on Saturday, April 18, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The event invites families to step into a storybookthemed celebration honoring the resilience and creativity of military children. Parents and children are encouraged to dress in formal attire or storybookinspired costumes. The gala will feature music, dancing, interactive Storyland activities and more. Food will be available for purchase. Registration is not required but encouraged to support event planning.

Dodge Ball Tournament

The Sembach Physical Fitness Center plans to host a dodgeball tournament Friday, May 1, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Teams must register by Thursday, April 30. The entry fee is $10 per team, and rosters may include up to eight players, ages 18 and older. Registration is available at the Sembach, Kleber, ROB and Landstuhl physical fitness centers. The tournament is capped at 16 teams and will follow a doubleelimination format. Additional gameplay rules will be provided at registration. May Car Show

The Car Show at Pulaski Park is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration runs April 1 through May 9, and participants must pay the $10 entry fee in person at any Automotive Skills Center on Pulaski Barracks, Landstuhl Post or Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The event features five judging categories: Best Jalopy, Best Muscle Car, Best OffRoad Vehicle, Best JDM and Best Old Timer, which requires vehicles to be at least 25 years old. Judging and prizes are open to all militaryaffiliated ID card holders, including active duty, reserve, retired, veterans, family members and DOD, DA and DAF civilians, regardless of SOFA status. Southern Rock Live Concert

The Kazabra Club will host a live performance by Cherry Wing on Friday, April 17, at Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the event runs until 1 a.m. The band takes the stage at 9 p.m. Cherry Wing delivers a highenergy mix of Southern rock, blues rock and country, covering artists from Creedence Clearwater Revival and ZZ Top to Marcus King and 49 Winchester. The fourpiece group is known for its rootsdriven sound built for loud amps and packed rooms. Admission is $15 at the door or $12 for advance tickets. Friday the 13th Voodoo Party

Groove Connection will headline a Friday the 13th Voodoo Party on March 13 at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The live band will perform funk, soul, and R&B classics throughout the night. Admission costs $15 at the door or $12 for advance tickets by calling 541-9114 or 0611-143-541-9114. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the event runs until 1 a.m. The band begins its set at 9 p.m.

Piper Creative Writing Workshop

The Landstuhl and Baumholder Libraries will host free creative writing workshops with Avril Callicutt, a local military spouse and playwright of the new KMC Onstage musical “Piper.” Sessions take place March 14 at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post, and March 21 at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Both workshops are from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Callicutt will teach participants how to construct a fairy tale to create original work. Attendees will receive pens, a writing journal and a copy of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. The workshop is open to ages 13 and older. Registration for both workshops is required by March 9 at landstuhllibrary@army.mil or baumholderlibrary@army.mil.

Warrior Challenge 5K Run

The Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program is proud to host a free Warrior Challenge 5K run with exercises on March 14 starting at 9 a.m. at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105, on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
