Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show

Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is now to Sep. 19. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. Car-show participation for judging and prizes are open to all military affiliated ID card holders with or without SOFA status, to include active duty, reserve, retired, veteran, family member, and DOD/DA/DAF civilians. There will be 5 categories: Best European; Best Muscle Car; Best American Car; Best JDM and Best Old Timer (must be 25 years or older). Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Child & Youth Services will hold an in-person job fair Sep. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child and Youth Program Assistants for Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach, offering a $1,200 hiring bonus for eligible applicants, childcare discounts, noncompetitive promotions, salary increases and early childhood education scholarship opportunities. The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a community Job Fair Wednesday, Sep. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Open to all ID card holders. Job seekers can build their network by connecting with government agencies and contractors. Applicants will learn about local resources, volunteering and ACS Services. AFE Flag Football & Stripes

Armed Forces Entertainment will present Flag Football & Stripes, a free event, on Tuesday, Sep. 22, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Minick Field, Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Youth activities run from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by adult sessions from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Youth, ages 5 to 18, should register through Baumholder Child, Youth and School Services by visiting Parent Central Services, Bldg. 8876, or calling 0611-143-531-3440. Registration opens Sep. 8. Participants should wear athletic attire, bring water and be prepared to train with select U.S. National Team players. 2026 Pickleball Season

Registration for the 2026 Pickleball Season is now to Sep. 23. Sports, Fitness and Aquatics will host pickleball season from Sep. 28 through Nov. 7 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235, on Kleber Kaserne. Players will compete on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. using a rotating partner and opponent format with 15-minute rounds. The season will feature two skill brackets and conclude with a tournament Nov. 7. The program is open to military ID, civilian ID and local national ID card holders, ages 18 and older. Wave of Light Ceremony

In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the Wave of Light Ceremony invites families, friends and loved ones who experienced loss of a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or other causes to join in honor and remembrance on Oct. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pulaski Chapel, Bldg. 2869 on Pulaski Barracks and the Rock Chapel, Bldg. 8249 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.  Register in advance starting on Oct. 1 with the signup link on baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

Community Fidget Trading

Calling all fidget fans! Children in kindergarten through fifth grade can bring their favorite fidgets and “squishies” (squeeze toys) to swap, trade and have fun with friends during the Community Fidget Trading Event on Oct. 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Sembach School Age Center, Bldg. 66, on Sembach Kaserne. The free event is open to the community, but participants must be registered with Child and Youth Services. Parents must sign up their child by Oct. 1 by calling the Sembach School Age Center at 0611-143-541-9305. To participate in the trading fun, each child must bring a minimum of five fidgets or “squishies” to trade with others. Come ready to swap, discover some new favorites and show off your coolest fidgets! Families may also take part in an optional chili cook-off during the event.

Organizations and groups can reserve meeting and training spaces at the Workforce Development Center, Bldg. 109, on Sembach Kaserne. Multiple room options are available to accommodate events, briefings, training sessions, and conferences of varying sizes. Forest Bathing Workshop

Forest Bathing, a twohour “Shinrin Yoku” workshop, will be held Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at Wildpark at Leibnizstrasse 2, in Kaiserslautern. The $15 program guides participants through mindful, devicefree immersion in nature, including a forest walk, meditation and journaling. Advance tickets are available at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or through WebTrac. The workshop introduces core forestbathing practices. Attendees ages 18 and older are encouraged to bring water, snacks and a blanket. CYS Parents Day Out / Parents Night Out Events

Registration is open now until Sep. 11 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern CYS Parents Day Out/Parents Night Out on Sep. 18 from 6:30 to 11 p.m.  The cost is $36. The locations are Smith CDC in Baumholder and Landstuhl CDC 1. The Youth Centers in Landstuhl and Baumholder will be hosting late night activities during that time, which could be either a field trip (for Parent’s Day Out) or a late-night activity. Free Saturday Line Dancing Lessons

Free line dancing lessons will be offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The next one is Sep. 12. The sessions run from 8 to 9 p.m. and are open to all skill levels. Participants can practice their new moves during Country Night immediately afterward, featuring music by DJ Caddy. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
