
Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show
Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is now to Sep. 19. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. Car-show participation for judging and prizes are open to all military affiliated ID card holders with or without SOFA status, to include active duty, reserve, retired, veteran, family member, and DOD/DA/DAF civilians. There will be 5 categories: Best European; Best Muscle Car; Best American Car; Best JDM and Best Old Timer (must be 25 years or older). Saturday Night Comedy Show
Maxi Witrak headlines the Saturday Night Comedy Show Sep. 19 starting at 7 p.m. at the Tavern on the Rock inside the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. Feature comedian is Irene Sango. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 6 p.m., tickets are $10 at the door. AFE Flag Football & Stripes
Armed Forces Entertainment will present Flag Football & Stripes, a free event, on Tuesday, Sep. 22, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Minick Field, Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Youth activities run from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by adult sessions from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Youth, ages 5 to 18, should register through Baumholder Child, Youth and School Services by visiting Parent Central Services, Bldg. 8876, or calling 0611-143-531-3440. Registration opens Sep. 8. Participants should wear athletic attire, bring water and be prepared to train with select U.S. National Team players. Wave of Light Ceremony
In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the Wave of Light Ceremony invites families, friends and loved ones who experienced loss of a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or other causes to join in honor and remembrance on Oct. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pulaski Chapel, Bldg. 2869 on Pulaski Barracks and the Rock Chapel, Bldg. 8249 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Special Viewing: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Let’s do the Time Warp again! A special Halloween screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be on Oct. 31 at 3232. The 18+ event begins with a preshow at 9 p.m., followed by the movie at 10 p.m. at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Tickets are $15 and include a prop bag for interactive participation. Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Patrons can tuck their fuzzy friends in the Fuzzy Arms Hotel at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Check-in time is Sep. 18 between noon and 4 p.m. Checkout time is Sep. 21 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., when patrons can see what kind of fun and mischief their fuzzy friends got into over the weekend. The library staff will catch a few pictures of the mischief and adventure to give to the children, who will also receive notes from their stuffed animals telling them of their adventures. Passport Español
Passport Español launches a free culturalimmersion program that blends Spanish language learning with traditions from across the Spanishspeaking world. Designed for teens and adults, the series introduces participants to food, music, history, and daily life through interactive sessions that go beyond textbook study. 2026 Pickleball Season
Registration for the 2026 Pickleball Season is now to Sep. 23. Sports, Fitness and Aquatics will host pickleball season from Sep. 28 through Nov. 7 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235, on Kleber Kaserne. Players will compete on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. using a rotating partner and opponent format with 15-minute rounds. The season will feature two skill brackets and conclude with a tournament Nov. 7. The program is open to military ID, civilian ID and local national ID card holders, ages 18 and older. Baumholder 101
Meet new and seasoned community members at the Baumholder 101 held either twice or once a month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Post Office building 8661 on Smith Barracks. The next one is Monday, Sep. 14. The goal of this orientation is to connect families with resources, community information, local agencies and services, and other Spouses. There will be representatives from Army Community Service, Outdoor Recreation, Value Added Tax, and many others. Dates for the rest of the year are Sep. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 9 and Dec. 14. BOSS 1000/500 Pound Club
The Kaiserslautern Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers’ program has launched the new, allinclusive 1000/500 Pound Club challenge, offering public recognition in participating physical fitness centers on Kleber Kaserne, Sembach Kaserne and Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Participants who qualify will also receive personalized training support. The recurring event runs through Sep. 15, with monthly sessions held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Kleber on the first Tuesday, Sembach on the second Tuesday and ROB on the third Tuesday. Sports Massage Therapy in Baumholder
Sports Massage Therapy services are now available at the Aquatics Center, Bldg. 8895/8897 on Wetzel Kaserne, offering 30-, 50- and 80minute sessions designed to ease tension and improve mobility. Certified therapists provide Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, and Medical Sports Massage to help reduce stress, manage pain and support strength building. The Baumholder program offers personalized care for active-duty service members, families and community members. All services require a scheduled appointment. Dog Obedience Training
Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group
The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.
Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!
The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders. No cover charge.
