Holiday Bazaar

Get a head start on holiday shopping at the annual Holiday Bazaar, featuring unique European gifts, specialty foods, handcrafted items, and more. Join Family & MWR for the Holiday Bazaar from Friday, Nov. 6 to Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Sembach Bazaar Warehouse, Bldg. 141 on Sembach Kaserne. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices are in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Open to U.S. ID cardholders only. Strollers are welcome.

5K Turkey Trot Costume Fun Run

Community members can show their spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing up as their favorite Thanksgiving-related character such as a turkey or pilgrim at the 5K Turkey Trot Costume Fun Run Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Family and Landstuhl Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3720. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the run starting at 10 a.m. Cost is $8 per person. Children under 12 are free.  Runners can prepay on the WebTrac link on kaiserslautern.armymwr.com or on the day of the run during registration. Payment must be with a credit card. Participants can walk or run. Dogs, strollers and families are welcome. The first male, female and a child under 12 crossing the finish line will get a frozen turkey. Additionally, the first three runners in the male, female, and youth categories will get medals.

Turkey Shoot

Registration for the Turkey Shoot is now to Nov. 21 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. The November Turkey Shoot happens Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is a fun season closeout tournament with the winner receiving a free turkey and second place will get a free ham. This tournament will be standard stroke play format over 18 holes. Cost is $35 for members, $35 for early signup and $40 for day of signup. Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Basketball Tournament

Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports Program’s Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Basketball Tournament is Nov. 15 to Jan. 8. Register in person at the Mountaineer Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8220 on Smith Barracks, or by calling 531-2924 or 0611-143-531-2924. Game days are Jan. 15 to 18 at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Cost is $475. Cashless payment only. Teams opting to pay via Transfer Between Activities (TBA) should contact the Point of Contact (POC) directly. Armstrong’s Thanksgiving Meal Buffet

Come celebrate Thanksgiving Day with family and friends at the Armstrong’s Club, Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036, Vogelweh Housing, on Thursday, Nov. 26. Times are 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Cost is 36€ for adults, 18 and older, 18€ for ages 6 to 17 and free for ages 5 and younger. Donuts with Santa

Donuts with Santa will take place Dec. 4 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks, offering families an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with Santa Claus. Guests can enjoy a special storytelling session by Santa and take their own photos with him throughout the event. The program also features donuts, hot chocolate, holiday treats, seasonal crafts and festive music for all ages. The family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together for an afternoon of holiday fun and memories.

Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz is hosting a Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.  The event will showcase photos with Santa, holiday themed crafts, live music performances from the Baumholder High School Band, hot chocolate and Glühwein/Kinderwein and holiday treats. Baumholder 101

Meet new and seasoned community members at the Baumholder 101 held either twice or once a month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Post Office building 8661 on Smith Barracks. The next one is Monday Nov. 9 & Dec. 14. The goal of this orientation is to connect families with resources, community information, local agencies and services, and other Spouses. There will be representatives from Army Community Service, Outdoor Recreation, Value Added Tax, and many others. Registration is not required. Forest Bathing Workshop

Forest Bathing, a twohour “Shinrin Yoku” workshop, will be held Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at Wildpark at Leibnizstrasse 2, in Kaiserslautern. The $15 program guides participants through mindful, devicefree immersion in nature, including a forest walk, meditation and journaling. Advance tickets are available at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or through WebTrac. The workshop introduces core forestbathing practices. Attendees ages 18 and older are encouraged to bring water, snacks and a blanket. Passport Español

Passport Español launches a free culturalimmersion program that blends Spanish language learning with traditions from across the Spanishspeaking world. Designed for teens and adults, the series introduces participants to food, music, history, and daily life through interactive sessions that go beyond textbook study. The program will be offered the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks.   The next one is Nov. 10. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

Patrons can learn two-step and country swing with the free beginner dance lessons in November and December.   These classes are open sessions, once a week, on Wednesday at 7 to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. There will also be line-dance workshops offered on selected Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club. Wine and Yoga

Uncork and Unwind: Wine and Yoga is Thursday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The 18-and-over event offers a relaxing evening with one hour of guided yoga followed by a social hour.  Admission is $18 and includes two glasses of wine. Participants must bring their own yoga mats. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking to unwind after a long day, this event offers the perfect blend of movement and mindfulness. Baumholder Youth Winter Sports Season Registration

Registration for winter youth sports for the Baumholder community is Nov. 16 to Dec. 4. Sports offered are basketball, ages 5 to 15, and cheer, ages 5 to 15. Cost is $70. A current Health Assessment/ Sports Physical must be on file and valid until March 14, 2027, to participate.  Sports clinics offered are bowling, ages 8 to 18, volleyball, ages 8 to 15, and indoor soccer, ages 5 to 8. Baumholder Start Smart Winter Season Registration

Registration for Start Smart Winter Season for the Baumholder community is Nov. 16 to Dec. 4.  Start Smart is a Child/ Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist. Cost is $30. Chuck’s Pub Trivia at Armstrong’s Club

Armstrong’s Club announces free Chuck’s Pub Trivia every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing.  This trivia is a professional, multi-media competition with different formats and puzzles for teams to solve.  Bring a team or join one. Country Night

2026 Rolling Hills Golf Tournaments

CYS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Registration

Baumholder Youth Sports will offer a three-week Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program for ages 6 to 12, featuring two sessions per week and no “gee” requirement. Cost is $50 per child. Program will be in monthly sessions. Open enrollment for upcoming sessions will continue throughout the year. Each monthly three-week session features two classes per week. Volunteer coaches will teach beginner-level skills while helping participants build coordination, balance, discipline and confidence. The program introduces fundamental techniques in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
