WILDE HILDE LIGHT RUN/WALK

NOV. 6, 5 P.M., FOUNTAIN STADTPARK, KAISERSLAUTERN

The meeting point for the fun run/walk is at the fountain in Stadtpark. Start of the activity is at 5.30 p.m.  The run invites everyone to a very special community event in Kaiserslautern. – Under the motto “Moving Forward Together,” the run isn’t about speed, but about progressing together, covering distance together, bringing people together, and collectively radiating awareness for socially relevant issues, with a focus on topics like demographics, inclusion, accessibility, and participation – and not just symbolically! Because: for every completed lap, participants receive a glow stick – slowly making the park brighter and more colorful. To radiate energy together, participants start running in the twilight of Kaiserslautern city park, completing as many laps as they individually want and can within a set time frame – whether on foot, with a walker, or in a wheelchair. Those who like can join as a duo: in that case, two people (for example, one with and one without physical limitations) support each other. The organizers look forward to as many participants as possible, stop by, join in!
