LRMC salutes nurses

All across the U.S., registered nurses are being saluted.

On May 6, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center will begin celebrating National Nurses Week, which is held May 6 to 12 every year.

The purpose of the weeklong celebration is to raise awareness of the value of nursing and help educate the public about the role nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.

In honor of the dedication, commitment and tireless effort of the nearly 3.1 million registered nurses nationwide, who promote and maintain the health of this nation,
LRMC is proud to recognize registered nurses everywhere on this particular day for the quality work they provide seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Events during the week include a “M*A*S*H*” themed fun run, Nurse/Tech Olympics, brown bag CEU offerings and a spaghetti dinner for the night shift. The week will culminate with a Nurse Recognition Awards potluck luncheon May 13.
Don’t miss your chance to come out and meet and greet our dedicated, committed nurses working at LRMC who provide selfless service daily to our wounded warriors, their families and members of the KMC.
