Ayana Hodges and Hunter Vande Kamp judge debates May 30 and 31 at Ramstein Middle School. Over several weeks, students in Kurt Raducha’s seventh grade classes prepared to hold debates on topics such as reinstating the draft, requiring school uniforms and the death penalty, among other topics. Students learned about doing research, forming logical arguments and public speaking. More than 20 volunteers from the community acted as celebrity judges.
