Family Practice expands ops

The 435th Medical Group’s Ramstein health care providers have joined with the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center team to provide a new KMC after hours family practice clinic. Beginning April 15, family practice patients can book an appointment to be seen from 5 to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday at LRMC.

“The new clinic operations will provide greater flexibility and convenience for our patients when they need to make an appointment,” said Col. Jackson Dobbins, 435th Medical Operations Squadron commander.

Combined with the addition of the after hours clinic, the Ramstein family practice and pharmacy teams will follow the success of the Ramstein Pediatric Clinic at Landstuhl and transition Saturday and Family Day clinic operations to LRMC. Pediatrics will now also hold clinic hours on family days at Landstuhl.

These modifications provide further support for greater appointment availability, and maximize pharmacy, laboratory and radiology resources for patients.

This decision is linked with the upcoming expansion of clinical services scheduled for January 2007, when Army Family Practice and Pediatrics join the Ramstein Clinic.

Appointments for all clinics may be scheduled through the CARE line, 479-2273, or booked on-line at www.tricare
