Motorists must obey signs

Motorists coming to the corner of Koenigstrasse and Richard-Wagner-Strasse in the center of Kaiserslautern are not allowed to drive on into Fruchthallstrasse. They must obey the signs in yellow and not enter Fruchthallstrasse along the mall.  Traffic controls conducted by Police Inspection Kaiserslautern 2 proved that numerous Americans unlawfully drive through Fruchthallstrasse. It was noted that in most cases motorists were misrouted by their navigation systems or lacked knowledge of the area. The traffic signs placed at the beginning of Fruchthallstrasse clearly show that driving through is only authorized for city busses, taxis and delivery vehicles.
