Their mission: to protect the trees and habitats within the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz by posting signs to educate and call attention to safeguarded areas, trees and wildlife.

Tech. Sgt. Seth Wilkinson, 86th Aircraft Main­tenance Squadron unit deployment manager, and his son walk with Kyle Rudolph, NFL Minnesota Vikings tight end, to a C-130J during Rudolph’s visit April 7 to Ramstein Air Base. Rudolph spent four days in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. During this time, he toured Ramstein Air Base, Kapaun Air Base, Vogelweh and Sembach. He spoke with Airmen, took pictures with them and signed autographs. On April 7 and 8, Rudolph hosted a football camp at the Kaiserslautern High School football stadium where he emphasized the fundamentals of the game.
