On Saturday and Sunday, Kaiserslautern’s advertising association, Kaiser in Lautern, will offer a spring market combined with a car exhibition and Sunday shopping. The city of Kaiserslautern is co-sponsoring the event as a way to say goodbye to winter and promote local businesses.

The Association for the Advancement of German-French Partnership will sponsor its 21st annual Easter market from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Niederkirchen’s Westpfalzhalle. Volunteers helped to decorate the community hall with colorful flowers and Easter decorations to lure a lot of visitors from all over.

Members of the KMC were invited to view the world premiere and free screening of the new Disney movie, “McFarland, USA,” Feb. 7 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s Heaton Hall Auditorium. About 30 people viewed the film.
