The Window to Rheinland-Pfalz information counter at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center offers its visitors new English information material about sights and events in the local region.
Kaiserslauterns advertising association, “Kaiser in Lautern,” will sponsor a spring market in cooperation with the City of Kaiserslautern to say goodbye to winter Saturday and Sunday.
The City of Bad Dürkheim will sponsor its annual “Weinbergnacht,” or vineyard night, today and Saturday. Local vineyards will be immersed in romantic lights and all kinds of colors can be seen across the sky.
Twenty-four local vintners will offer selected wines in illuminated tents. Local caterers and restaurant owners will serve Palatinate food specialties.
The Irish celebrate a national and religious holiday Monday — St. Patrick’s Day.
