The Christmas market in Kaiserslautern will take place Monday through
Dec. 22. It expands from Schillerplatz to Stiftskirche and consists of
more than 40 little wooden houses and booths decorated with fir tree
garlands and light bulbs.
Landstuhl holds its traditional Christmas market, called St. Andreas Markt, Nov. 29 and 30 in the center of town.

The Rheinland-Pfalz Quilt Guild promoted their organization and quilts
at the Landstuhl Library Oct. 15. The event was free and open to the
public. Members of the guild provided the library with a beautiful
display of quilted items ill-ustrating a variety of techniques as the
Landstuhl Library featured books about quilting.
