Two weeks ago, I stressed the importance of constant readiness in light
of recent events around the world that call us, as military members, to

In relationships, sexual and otherwise, respect means listening and
carefully considering the other person
I carry a well worn copy of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S.
Constitution and the Bill of Rights with me every day and refer to them
often. I think it is important for those of us who support and defend
the U.S. Constitution to be very familiar with these founding documents.
Grim circumstances around the world in recent weeks have upset our
normal routines and remind us of the role we play as U.S. service
members overseas.
Having served for almost a quarter of a century in the Air Force and
having been a woman for almost twice that, I can say this is a different
Air Force than when I first joined.
