Teens sign a pledge banner at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center food court during Teen Dating Violence Awareness month Feb. 5 on Ramstein. The banner was placed at a booth to help raise awareness of teen dating violence and will be hung in the Teen Center for the remainder of the month. Teens from around the KMC were able to sign the banner as a pledge to be in respectful, violence-free relationships. Family Advocacy will also have a ‘Parenting of Teens’ class for both parents and teens to attend to learn how to have open communication. Airmen pick up leaves and trash outside of their living quarters during a dormitory cleanup Jan. 30 on Ramstein. The event kick-started a new base-wide program that will have Airmen from all dormitories helping airmen dorm leaders with their daily cleaning tasks around base while they are on bay orderly for one work week, a program that helps keep Ramstein’s working and living environments pristine.
