Celebrating National Women’s Equality Day
Although my father would try and explain this to me, it was difficult to comprehend that there was a time when women in the United States did not have the same rights as men. Growing up I always saw myself as an equal. After all, I was paid the same as my male counterparts and was able to vote shortly after my 18th birthday.

NATO opens kitchen to all
A Greek, an American, a German and their dependents walked up to the bar — a salad bar. The NATO compound International Dining Facility recently opened its doors to all personnel with access to Ramstein Aug. 6, offering vegetables, drinks and other food.

CDC increases space for children
The 86th Force Support Squadron Child Development Center on Ramstein opened an annex Monday close to their current CDC facilities to allow room for more children.
