Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, currently the assistant vice chief of staff and director, Air Staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington D.C, has received U.S. Senate confirmation for appointment to the grade of general and commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa and Allied Air Command, and director of Joint Air Power Competence Centre, Ramstein Air Base.

Maj. Gen. Aundre F. Piggee, the outgoing commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, relinquished command of the 21st TSC to Maj. Gen. John R. O’Connor, the incoming commanding general, during a change of command ceremony June 28 on Daenner Kaserne.
