Maj. Gen. Aundre F. Piggee, commanding general of 21st Theater Sustainment Command, honored Mayor of Kaiserslautern Dr. Susanne Wimmer-Leonhardt and Kaiserslautern County Commissioner Paul Junker by inducting them as honorary colonels of the 21st TSC during a ceremony June 5.

All of these terms have one common denominator; without the proper training and education, they mean nothing. Years of research and development have gone into creating the elite group that is the U.S. Air Force, and even during times of reduced funding, they must keep a sharpened edge.
“I never thought I could be a Soldier,” Diaz said. “My mindset of a Soldier was of an invincible human who couldn’t be harmed, couldn’t be touched.”
