Congress authorizes paternity leave

Eligible Airmen are now authorized 10 days of nonchargeable paternity
leave after the birth of their newborns, courtesy of the 2009 Duncan
Hunter National Defense Authorization Act passed by Congress.

AAFES phases out Unleaded Regular gasoline

Esso in Germany has phased out Unleaded Regular Gasoline.    Esso announced that on Jan. 1 they stopped delivering Unleaded Regular Gasoline to Army & Air Force Exchange Service facilities throughout Germany.  Upon exhaustion of Unleaded Regular Gasoline, AAFES facilities will only carry Super and Super Plus unleaded fuels.   Mannheim, Ramstein […]

DOD expands eligibility for GWOT Expeditionary Medal

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS – Department of Defense officials
recently expanded the areas of eligibility for the Global War on
Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

The approved additions are two countries – Morocco and Burkina Faso –
and Operation Nomad Shadow, with an initial AOE of Turkey and Northern
Iraq.
