WORLD CUP FACTS
– Brazil is the defending World Cup champion.

Use the free World Cup shuttle from Ramstein AB to the USA vs. Italy
World Cup soccer game and the Kaiserslautern Fan Fest Saturday. The
pick-up point for military ID card holders traveling to the Stadium/Fan
Fest is the Ramstein BX parking lot. Buses begin departing at 5:30 p.m.
and leave every 10 minutes, with the last bus departing at 8:30 p.m.
for the match that starts at 9 p.m. Buses return riders to the Ramstein
BX after the 9 p.m. game with the last bus leaving the Stadium/Fan Fest
drop-off point at 1 a.m. Call or stop by the Ramstein Community Center
to sign up for the free shuttle, 480-6600 or 06371-476600.
Like their stateside counterparts, many Americans living in Germany are
two-car families. Those planning to ship both vehicles during the
summer PCS season should begin planning now to ensure smooth transport
of their cars and motorcycles.
Airmen and Soldiers dug deep into their pockets and gave generously to
the 2005 Combined Federal Campaign program, which allows overseas
personnel to support Family Support and Youth Programs right at their
own installations.
More than 140 personnel from 10 NATO and Partnership for Peace
countries converged on Eagle Base, Tuzla in Bosnia-Herzegovina in May
with one mission: to conduct safe interoperability testing and document
the results.
Attention Landstuhl housing residents
On Wednesday, between 2:15 and 5 p.m., testing will be performed on the
electrical switching system at Landstuhl. This could result in short
power flickering phases throughout the afternoon.
