Airmen around base use various outlets to better themselves physically.
Some workout with friends, others play sports. But some Airmen, like
Tech. Sgt. Jerry Nelson, 603rd Air Operations Center personnel recovery
controller, simply beat people up.
Service members and civilians came together for the Ramstein Jujitsu
Club, by taking part in the martial arts combative sport at an Army
combative gym on Rhine Ordnance Barracks.
This season was supposed to be something of a re-grouping year for the
Kaiserslautern Kingfish Swim Team. At the end of last season, seven
seniors graduated. They also lost several multi-swimmer families to
PCS.
The 86th Force Support Squadron
Members of the KMC participated in a dodgeball tournament Nov. 30 at the Ramstein Southside Fitness Center.

The Kaiserslautern Kingfish Swim Team converged on the Olympic Pool
Wezenberg in Antwerp, Belgium on November 24-25 for the European Forces
Swim League Long Distance Championships.
Grid-iron supremacy was on the line as the 435th Security Forces
Squadron, 30th Medical Command and four teams from the 18th Military
Police Brigade battled in the second annual inter-service Sembach Flag
Football Championship, Nov 18.
The Air Force was denied winning the
title for the second year in a row by the 92nd MP Co., which pulled out a
15-8 victory, allowing the Army to claim bragging rights for another
year.
The wrestling referee is one of the most important figures on the mat
for both the flow of the matches and safety of the wrestlers. Every
year, many forget the importance of the wrestling officials at high
school meets. Many criticize their performance and question their
intentions.
