Functional fitness can be defined in many ways, but pure and simple, it
is a way of training your body to perform multiple daily tasks, such as
walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling in a pain free manner to
prevent injuries.
In a good old-fashioned battle of the services, the Air Force triumphed
over the Army during the KMC flag football championships Oct. 21.
Every month, the 86th Airlift Wing recognizes members who earn a
perfect 100 on their annual physical fitness assessment with a
certificate and/or a letter of recognition and their picture displayed
in the base paper.
