K-Town participants represent Team America

Recently, 19 martial artists, youth and adults from the KMC came
together to represent Team America at the World of Martial Arts
Athletics World Championship Tournament in Castlebar, Ireland, Aug. 16
and 17. This was the ninth such tournament hosted by this organization
and all participants had to qualify in Stuttgart earlier this summer
before making the August trip to Ireland.

When a gentleman is able to bench press 400 pounds, squat more than 600
pounds, dead lift more than 660 pounds and has won a list of
bodybuilding championships, it would be easy to assume he would be a
great mentor for young athletes entering the sports of bodybuilding and
power lifting.

A3 team dominates USAFE championship

A3 team dominates USAFE championship

The Ramstein Intramural Softball Champions, U.S. Air Forces in Europe
Directorate of Air, Space and Information Operations (A3), dominated
the competition during the USAFE Central Region Softball Championships
Aug. 7 to 9. Finishing with a 9-0 record, the team scored more than 200
runs during the three-day tournament against teams from Geilenkirchen,
Vokel/Buchel and Aviano.
