Spring Bazaar

Spring Bazaar kicks off the season March 13 to 15 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks, offering shoppers three days of European goods and specialty finds. Hours run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Vendors will showcase pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry and other unique items, with all prices in U.S. dollars and cashless payments only. Saturday Night Comedy Show

Community Job Fair

USAG RheinlandPfalz Army Community Service will host a Community Job Fair on Thursday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The event is open to all ID card holders and features employers from the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities, with some offering sameday interviews and hiring. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Child & Youth Services will host an in-person job fair March 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is hiring Child & Youth Program Assistants for locations in Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber and Sembach. 90-Day Summer Shred Challenge

Registration is March 2 to 13 for the 90-Day Summer Shred (You vs. You) Challenge taking place March 16 to June 15 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne.  Open to U.S. and Local National card holders, 18 and older and not associated with DODEA high school or Child & Youth Services. Personal trainers and wellness coaches are available for hire. Free assistance with nutrition, meal planning and Macros. Free sample workout plans to achieve fitness goals for men and women. Paint & Sip
“Let the Shenanigans Begin”

The Sembach Recreation Center, Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne, will host a paint and sip “Let the Shenanigans Begin” March 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sembach Community Center, Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne.  Cost is $35 and includes one beverage.  This is an 18 and older event. School Age Summer Camps

Registration is now open for the Army Family and MWR Child and Youth Services School Age Programs’ Operation – Best Me Mission Ready.” The program offers nine weeks of care services from June 15 to Aug 14. These camps are for School Age Centers on Wetzel Kaserne, Landstuhl Post or Sembach Kaserne. Kaiserslautern Part-Day Preschool

Kaiserslautern Child and Youth Services is enrolling children ages 3 to 5 in a new partday preschool program running from 9 a.m. to noon at Landstuhl CDC 1, Kleber CDC and Sembach CDC. Families may join the waitlist through militarychildcare.com. Program options include two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), three days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or five days (Monday through Friday). Nutrition & Stress Relief Program in Baumholder

The USAG RheinlandPfalz Nutrition & Stress Relief Program is available in Baumholder for civilian and military groups by appointment at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. The ongoing program offers nutrition education, guided diet plans and stressrelief training, including meditation, guided imagery and progressive muscle relaxation. Kaiserslautern Start Smart Registration

Start Smart baseball and soccer registration for Kaiserslautern youth, ages 3-4, is now to March 13 (or until teams are full).  Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent and child interactive program for ages 3 to 4, led by a sports and fitness specialist. Volunteer Coaches Needed for Spring Season

Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness is recruiting volunteer coaches for the upcoming Spring season. Coaches are needed for Baseball, Track and Field, Soccer, Golf, Archery, Softball, Cheerleading, Volleyball, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Volunteer benefits include eligibility for hours toward awards and promotion, up to a 100 percent discount on sports fees for enrolled children, exclusive Baumholder sports gear and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and its mission. Dog Obedience Training

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation has dog obedience training starting at eight-weeks of age held Saturdays at the Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation Motor Pool, Bldg. 2902 on Pulaski Barracks. Classes are one hour, with time slots between 9 a.m. to noon depending on the size of the dog. Cost is $15 per dog. This fee must be paid in advance by close of business Friday either in person at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation or by calling 493-4117 or 0631-3406-4117. SKIES Gymnastics

Enrollment is now open for SKIES Unlimited gymnastics for ages 1 to 18 in the Kaiserslautern Community. SOS Survivor Support Group

The Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services hosts a SOS Survivor Support Group second Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. in Building 3820 (next to the Thrift Shop), second floor conference room on Landstuhl Post. Registration is required and must be done by 2 p.m. the day of the meeting by calling the ACS front desk at 531-2863/2851 or 0611-143-531-2863/2851. This is an ongoing monthly support group for surviving family members of deceased active duty service members.

Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!

The last Friday of the month is Latin Night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  Food is available from 8 to 11 p.m. This event is for those 18 and older, who are I.D. card holders.
